Hello Rimvis!
Thank you for posting these very detailed and high quality course instructions, keeping the knowledge of one of the most flexible protection relays alive.
Please note that CAP505 version 2.5.0 is available and works nicely with Windows 7, and that user license information is no longer required.

Dear Gunder,
thank you for your comment.
I highly appreciate your opinion and additional remarks on Version 2.5.0 of CAP505. I chose to write the course on Version 2.4.0, because of I in fact know, how many companies has this particular version in exploitation.
Once I finish my course on REF534 CAP505 Version 2.4.0 I will continue with REF630.
If you have remarks or suggestions on the future course your feedback would mean a great deal to me.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Rimvis

Best regards,
Great page.
very well explained and great workflow.
I just want to ask you if it is possible to upload a relay application from the relay itself (with no original project as is often the case in industrial maintenance) in order to modify logics and send the modifyed charts back to the relay without damaging the communications or controls.
If you are interested on get a hand on courses on the siemens relays versions 4 and 5 I would gladly help
Regards
